Formerly Traders Hotel Puteri Harbour, the hotel was rebranded as Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour on April 1, 2015, as part of an exercise to set new standards in the hospitability industry. The exercise was crucial due to the ever changing demand from guests, especially in meeting the expectations of the new and millennial-type section of society.

The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link, one hour from Singapore Changi Airport and 35 minutes from Senai Airport.

Theme parks are a major draw for families and the young-at-heart, hence the proximity of Legoland Malaysia to the hotel is a major advantage. The Sanrio Hello Kitty and Little Big Club are also located near the hotel. Spanning over 60,000 square feet, the indoor theme park features world-renowned and popular children’s characters in three main areas: Hello Kitty Town showcasing Hello Kitty and friends by Sanrio; The Little Big Club featuring HIT Entertainment’s Thomas and Friends, Barney, Bob the Builder, Pingu and Angelina Ballerina.
